I'm Sophie
It's just me here at Cake for Breakfast SW20.
I'm the one taking your order, researching options, baking your cake and ensuring it looks just right. I believe in quality rather than quantity: I bake with the best ingredients, using the techniques my grandma taught me as a young child (just without the finger-licking) and take my time over presentation. I try to keep a range of cupcakes in stock for last minute orders, but mostly I bake all my cakes to order.
Because I'm busy baking, I can't usually deliver - except for large orders and weddings - so most people collect from my house in Raynes Park, SW20.
Easter 2025
Order for yourself or make somebody else's day with these happiness-filled treats: mini or full sized-cupcakes, bento boxes and small cakes, decorated in spring pastels and Cadbury's Mini Eggs. Collection available 18-20 April.
Weddings
From rustic cakes and cupcakes to elegant, multi-tier extravaganzas and modern art masterpieces (if I do say so myself), every wedding cake I make is a one-off. I've put together a page on this website to give you a taste of how I work, but as you'll see: there are no rules for weddings! If your wedding is in 2025, please get in touch. Remember that you can get a rough idea of starting prices from this website, or if you send me your approximate number of guests, the date and location of your reception and a little information about your style then I can design a bespoke wedding cake just for you!
Cupcakes
Let me select a Pick & Mix box of cupcakes for you for a little treat or gift, or select from one of my many options to create your own bespoke box of cupcakes in your chosen colour theme for a special occasion.
Mini Cupcakes
Mini cupcakes to order, from £18 for 12. These cuties are two bites of loveliness; perfect for afternoon teas or drinks parties. You can even keep them in the freezer and just defrost one or two when you feel like a sweet treat! I try to keep vanilla, chocolate, red velvet and lemon minis in stock, but advance notice is essential if you would like other flavours or a mix of designs. Please note that I cannot do gluten-free or vegan minis.
Macarons
French macarons: heavenly to eat but devilishly difficult to make. You can add some to your cupcake selections or order a mixed box of six for £10, twelve for £18 or 24 for £35. I had Salted Caramel, Lemon, White Chocolate & Raspberry, Vanilla, Chocolate and also Pistachio in stock when I wrote this, but these flavours will change due to availability (and what I feel like making)! Small Cakes
Small cakes to serve around 8, 12 or 16 people. From naked cakes with fresh fruit to chocolate-overloads for those with a seriously sweet tooth, click through for some inspiration to whet your appetite. Please note that I no longer offer theme cakes for fewer than 12 servings, so please take a look at the photos on this page instead: you can still customise flavours, colours and even sprinkles to make them your own. It's not just children who deserve a special birthday cake! I have a particular soft spot for baking for adults who just want something fabulous, without a theme.
